Great book. Very well written and organized. Tells you what you need to know without extra fluff. I will keep this as a reference book in my practice.
Waste of money
Nicely organized resource.
I'm in an acute care NP program and really appreciate this resource, even if it is primary care focused. I'll hang on to it as a resource for the future. Each chapter has different contributing authors and none are over long. Good information and well organized. This edition avoids pitfalls of so many medical textbooks these days: paper-thin pages, tiny fonts, charts on charts on charts. You won't find those here. Also without the self-aware sections in nursing textbooks one finds about "doing nursing," which you can find in a theory textbook if you're into that.
