Got this from the library and liked it so much I ordered it. Simple and delicious recipes.
very German. loving it
Being the daughter of a German mother I like the idea of a modern take on the traditional German cuisine. After reading through the cookbook though I realize that the Chef must be from an area of Germany with recipes that I'm not as familiar with.
Some new fresh twists on old favorites. Along with new things. I loved the microgreen soup, and the tips with flavors and cooking (adding things closer to the end of cooking to get the most flavor for certain things. Some traditional favorites, and newer ways of making some of them. Gorgeous! Can't wait to cook!
Wow! We cooked salmon/cucumber salad, rare filet of beef, cabbage salad and baked spiced peaches: superb. A collection of classic dishes with a twist with straightforward directions.
