We got this book from the library and my two year old loved it so much I bought it for her for Christmas. It's interactive and silly! My five year old loves it too!
My two year old son adores this book. The narrator breaks the fourth wall to get the reader to help poor Carter find his way home. Fantastic.
My four year old loves this book. We did not purchase it, but checked it out of the library. We may end up buying it though. It's interactive and fun, asking the reader to trace lines in the book to draw new doors for the crocodile to get through. And then you turn the page and there are actual holes in the book where the crocodile has made it part of the way through. So then the reader is asked to help tip/push/etc. the book to help him the rest of the way. My son giggles and giggles the whole way through.I'm not sure children who are reading on their own would enjoy this book as much as those being read to, but that's just a guess. Half the fun for us is me reading the book to him and asking him to help with the various tasks.
This is such a great interactive book! After reading through the first time my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter wanted to read it again and again and loved doing the actions on each page! We love the Nicola O'Byrne books!!!!
6 Stars! We got this at the library and we now have to buy it. My 5 year old loves tracing the door and interacting with the book. I haven't found a book that keeps ME and my child so entertained.
Wonderful book! My kindergartener loves it. Easy read and interactive.
